Salernitana, Paulo Sousa has only one goal in mind
Sousa’s words after the draw with Milan
Paulo Sousa commented on his side’s draw against AC Milan to Sky’s microphones, “We went too low in the first half. We had chances to go ahead and could have seen a different match. Then we did very well in terms of organization. Playing against certain champions is not easy. We have to try to have more dribbling, this could help us create more. I work on everything, I always try to give the team an identity. In the first half we lacked some intensity. Changing behaviors is not easy, we are working to exploit spaces better. The goal we scored was extraordinary precisely by exploiting free spaces.”
He then stated his only goal: “I’m only thinking about salvation. To save ourselves we have to play a certain way. We are seeing a team that can compete more and more to win games.”
“It’s an important square, I chose it also because of that, not only because of the company and the president. There is a desire to do something important. Fans are fundamental in soccer,” he concluded about Salernitana and its fans.
