Long time for Tiago Djaló
As was also widely expected, the recovery time for Tiago Djaló, a Lille defender who ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on March 4 during a match with Lens, will be very long.
The Portuguese on Tuesday underwent reconstruction surgery at the Jean-Mermoz Hospital in Lyon. He was operated on by Dr. Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet. The return to the field for the former Sporting of Lisbon, 23 years old to be completed on April 9, will take place sometime between the next six and eight months.
