Cagliari, Ranieri’s appeal to fans ahead of Reggina
Cagliari, Ranieri blunt: “I didn’t like the booing. We need the support of the fans.”
Cagliari is looking forward to the challenge against Reggina in the 30th day of Serie B. Two days before the match, coach Claudio Ranieri spoke in the usual pre-match press conference.
“I have great respect for Reggina. Already in the first leg they were in the upper zones of the standings and for this reason I fear them. There will be a full house at the stadium on Saturday, but we must not let them intimidate us. We will have to try to repeat the performance we did with Ascoli. We know that it is a very difficult match, however, we have to go there with the awareness of doing a great race,” said the coach of the Rossoblù.
“It will be a preview of what will happen in the play-offs. I did not like the booing we received in the last game. I had asked for everyone’s help, especially that of the public, but I did not see it. The fans are free to do what they want, as they paid for the ticket and if they want to boo us they can do so. However, from now until the end of the season, we will need their help. I would like them to support us not only when things are going well, but especially in times of difficulty,” Ranieri concluded regarding the fans.
