The doubles journey of Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini came to a halt in the quarterfinals of the Indian Wells Masters 1000. The two Italians were defeated by the U.S. duo of John Isner and Jack Sock with the result 6-2 6-4. For the two Americans this was the second consecutive semifinal after the one in the previous year.
In the next round they will face the pair formed by Ebden and Bopanna.
