Alessandro Bastoni misses Inter-Juventus

Alessandro Bastoni will not be at Simone Inzaghi’s disposal for Inter-Juventus, a league match scheduled for Sunday evening: the defender, who came off badly from the match against Porto in the Champions League, has in fact suffered a muscle problem in his left thigh that will keep him off the field for at least a week, as confirmed by the meneghino club.

“Alessandro Bastoni underwent clinical-instrumental examinations this morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano,” reads the note published Thursday morning by the Nerazzurri club. “The investigations showed a distraction to the flexors of the left thigh. His condition will be re-evaluated next week.”

Inter will face Juventus at the San Siro on Sunday evening: against the Bianconeri, Inzaghi’s team will play twice more this season, in the Coppa Italia semifinals, on April 4 in Turin and April 26 in Milan.
