Rafa Nadal, comeback getting closer and closer
Rafa Nadal will be in Monte Carlo, according to tournament director
Rafa Nadal’s return to the court is getting closer and closer, and according to David Massey, director of the Monte Carlo tournament, the Spaniard will be among the entrants for the Principality’s Masters 1000 scheduled to begin next April 8.
“Nadal was the first player to confirm his presence,” explained Massey, in an official note. He wants to play in Monte Carlo, he is doing everything to be among the protagonists of a tournament he has won 11 times in singles, eight times in a row between 2005 and 2012.”
“Nadal will not be in the Top 10 of the ATP rankings for the first time in a long, long time. It will be interesting to see where he will be in the rankings when the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 begins,” added Massey.
