Max Verstappen dominates, Charles Leclerc is only 10th
Formula 1, times
Max Verstappen set the fastest time in the first free practice of the Saudi Arabian GP 2023.
The world champion was ahead of teammate Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso.
Next came the other Aston Martin of Lance Stroll and the two Mercedes of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton (at 1.125).
Badly for the Ferraris: Carlos Sainz stopped in seventh place at 1.262, while Charles Leclerc (who will have to serve a ten-position grid penalty) did no better than tenth place doing worse also Pierre Gasly (Alpine), Alexander Albon (Williams) and Yuki Tsunoda (AlphaTauri).
