The draw for the Women’s and Men’s Volleyball Qualification Tournaments for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games was held today in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Davide Mazzanti’s defending European champions will play their pool in Poland where they will face the hosts, the United States, Germany, Thailand, Colombia, South Korea and Slovenia.
Pool A (China): 1. China; 2. Serbia; 3. Dominican Republic; 4. Netherlands; 5. Canada; 6. Czech Republic; 7. Mexico; 8. Ukraine.
Pool B (Japan): 1. Japan; 2. Brazil; 3. Turkey; 4. Belgium; 5. Bulgaria; 6. Puerto Rico; 7. Argentina; 8. Peru.
Pool C (Poland): 1. Poland; 2. Italy; 3. United States; 4. Germany; 5. Thailand; 6. Colombia; 7. South Korea; 8. Slovenia.
Ferdinand De Giorgi’s reigning European and World champions, on the other hand, will play in Brazil against the hosts, Iran, Cuba, Ukraine, Germany, Czech Republic and Qatar.
