Reggio, Dragan Sakota battles Trieste: “Great motivation”
Reggiana coach: “To save ourselves, we must find a way to win on the road as well.”
Reggio Emilia coach Sakota speaks clearly on the eve of Saturday night’s advance on the court of Pallacanestro Trieste: “We are well aware of the importance of what is at stake, tomorrow in Trieste as well as in all the challenges that await us between now and the end of the season.”
“We were good and responsible in the way we took the court against Napoli, but it’s not enough. To save ourselves we have to find a way to win on the road as well. With this in mind, the challenge against Trieste is a first opportunity for us, I think my guys don’t lack motivation. They are a team with wide rotations and extremely well-equipped in the long department, it is no coincidence that they occupy the second place in the ranking of total rebounds in the entire A Series.”
“We will have to pay attention to their great athletic skills on the pick and roll, but also to the qualities of the shooters on the perimeter, which make Trieste a very well-balanced team.”
