Lecce, Baroni dismisses personal interests for Florence trip
Baroni’s words on the eve of Fiorentina-Lecce
Marco Baroni presented in a press conference the away match in Florence, where the Salentini will face Fiorentina on Sunday at 3 p.m.: “Fiorentina is a strong team: it has quality and important players, it is clearly on the rise, a very complicated match awaits us in a hot stadium. Happy with the call-ups to the national teams: this is a sport and it is to everyone’s credit when such important results are achieved. The team is there from a performance and productive point of view.”
On a possible confirmation of Oudin in midfield, he said, “He has done very well when he has been in his role, but sometimes in that particular position he has struggled a bit. If he wants to find space, he needs to be more of a ball striker and not a receptor.”
“Fiorentina has given me so much: it’s my city, but beyond that I want to remain calm. It’s not personal interests that count, but the dynamics of the group,” Baroni concluded on Fiorentina.
