At the Stadio Olimpico, after Ibanez was sent off in the 32nd minute for added caution, Sarri’s team took advantage of numerical superiority by taking the lead in the 65th minute with Luis Alberto’s through ball touched by Felipe Anderson for Zaccagni, who was perfect in beating Rui Patricio at the second post.
Thanks to this victory, Lazio stretched to +5 on the Giallorossi in the race for a spot in the next Champions League.
