Filip Jagiello makes Genoa fans dream
Genoa, Jagiello drives fans crazy
Filip Jagiello spoke during the “B Italian” broadcast on Goal Italia to talk about his coach Alberto Gilardino and more.
“Above all, the coach is a quiet person, we do everything he asks and we also see during the matches that what he says really happens, especially the tactics of the opponents,” Jagiello began. “He surprised me so much, I did not know him and I can say that he is one of the best coaches I have had in my career. He listens to the greatest, from Strootman to Badelj: he doesn’t just close himself off in his ideas, he also listens to the boys. He is a coach who has surprised me so much, really a very good coach.”
Then the Genoa midfielder praised the fans, making them dream: “The Genoa fans are the best fans in Italy, and I say this after seeing all the Italian fans. We always play at home with the stadium full, the Nord always full, and even away from home I don’t know how many there always are. In Brescia I think there were maybe 1,000, but always full. A beautiful thing. My dream is to play in Serie A and always in the top category. I have a lot of respect for Serie B, a very difficult league, but I would like to play with Genoa and in Serie A. And I would like to score a lot of goals and make a lot of appearances, to play for those people that is incredible stuff. The Ferraris always pushes you when you play and always pushes you to do something more. People often say it’s just words, but it’s true: when you get on the field and see those fans they push you to do more.”
