WTA ranking: good news for Martina Trevisan and Camila Giorgi
Wta rankings: six Italian women in top 100 after Indian Wells
After reaching the third round in Indian Wells, Martina Trevisan confirmed herself as the best of the Italians by gaining two places in the world rankings and becoming number 24. Camila Giorgi also did well, who after her exit in the second round also managed to climb two places to 44th. Elisabetta Cocciaretto (49) also enters the top 50. Jasmine Paolini and Lucia Bronzetti, on the other hand, drop to number 71 and 73 in the rankings, respectively. Last Italian in the top 100 is Sara Errani (99).
Ahead of all, globally, there is always Iga Swiatek with Aryna Sabalenka and Jessica Pegula completing the podium. In addition, winning the Indian Wells tournament gives Elena Rybakina the seventh position in the rankings, her best ranking so far.
