Cristiano Ronaldo in history with a double: it’s an all-time record

Two goals to celebrate the night that puts him even further into soccer history.

Against Liechtenstein, in fact, he reached 197, surpassing Kuwaiti Bader Al-Mutawa. And he also took the opportunity to score goals number 119 and 120 on the Lusitanians’ jersey.

Cristiano Ronaldo had made his debut with the Portugal national team almost two decades ago. It was August 20, 2003, and it was a friendly against Kazakhstan. He has been the captain of his country’s selection since 2007.
