Nicolo Fagioli will not be there with Serbia

Stop for Nicolò Fagioli: the Juventus midfielder, one of the happiest notes of the Bianconeri’s season, is struggling with some physical problems that will not allow him to take the field in Italy’s Under-21 match against Serbia, scheduled for Friday in Backa Topola.

Explaining the situation is Azzurrini coach Paolo Nicolato: “Fagioli has not trained with us yet. He arrived here in training camp with an ankle problem that he has been carrying since the last day of the championship during Inter-Juventus. He is a guy that I certainly count on recovering, but as of today he has not trained yet.”

Fagioli should be able to recover for next Monday’s scheduled match against Ukraine at the Granillo Stadium in Reggio Calabria.
