MotoGp, VR46: Marco Bezzecchi explains the fall in FP2
Bezzecchi slipped in FP2, closed in eighth place
The smile plastered on Marco Bezzecchi’s face after his fourth place in the first free practice of the MotoGp class Portugal GP cracked in the second session, when ‘Bez’ slipped with his Ducati, conditioning the result at the end of the test in no small way. Eighth place is tight for the Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider, who explained the dynamics of his slip to the official channels of the team founded by Valentino Rossi.
“I made a small mistake at turn nine, I crawled for many meters on the asphalt – said Bezzecchi -. However, it was a good day, with the medium compound I feel very good and even with the soft I have a good pace. Compared to the test, I made a step on the first half of the track, especially turns 3, 5 and 8, while I struggle in T3 and T4.”
“Tomorrow in the sprint we will start to understand the real values and I hope to have my say,” the Romagna driver said again.
