Marc Marquez, more trouble: hand injury
Honda rider Marc Marquez after crashing at the start hurt his right hand
Sunday to forget in Portugal for Marc Marquez. The Honda rider, who caused a crash after a few laps by hitting Oliveira’s Aprilia, suffered a right hand problem that will be evaluated in the coming hours.
The Spaniard, who came out amid booing fans at the Portimao circuit, underwent some examinations at the medical center, as manager Angel Charte told Dazn: “Marc’s injury did not seem to be anything important, but we saw in the X-rays a possible fracture of the first metacarpal of the right hand. We have immobilized it and now we depend on the complementary tests we will do at the hospital.”
Marc Marquez was quick to apologize to Miguel Oliveira after what happened on the track. The Portuguese rider did not suffer any serious consequences after the crash.
