Miami Open, Lorenzo Sonego wins in comeback with Daniel Evans
In the next round he will face Tiafoe
Great show of pride by Sonego at the Miami Open. The Italian managed to win the long battle with Evans. After losing the first set badly (4-6), the Italian, at 2-0 in his own favor, saved no less than four break points before managing to tame Evans. The match ended, after about two and a half hours of play, with Sonego winning 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Now on Sonego’s trail is Tiafoe, No. 12 on the men’s draw. A complicated match but, considering the great determination shown by Sonego in Miami, anything is possible. It should be remembered that the Sinner-Dimitrov challenge is also scheduled for today.
