Milan woes, Pioli loses Kalulu
Bad news for AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli: defender Pierre Kalulu has returned from the French Under-21 national team’s training camp with a right calf injury and will have to miss next Sunday’s big match at the Maradona against top-ranked Napoli.
“This morning Pierre Kalulu underwent control examinations that showed an injury of the soleus muscle of the right calf. A new instrumental control will be carried out in a week,” is the note from the Rossoneri club. Kalulu is one of Stefano Pioli’s irreplaceables, and has played 37 games this season between league and cups. Simon Kjaer, who has claimed more space in recent days, could play in his place.
