During an interview with the microphones of the daily newspaper “Il Mattino,” Salernitana president Danilo Iervolino spoke about the momentum of the Granata and the club’s future ambitions.

“I am very ambitious and I always like to look upwards also because Salernitana can count on a legendary fan base. You can do great things, but they have to be planned, otherwise you risk spending too much and having cash flow problems. You always have to try to maintain a financial balance,” said the president of the Campania club.

“My inspirational models are Ajax and Atalanta. My goal is to scout young talents who can make the leap to Serie A. A bit like Napoli did with Kvaratskhelia. I have to congratulate De Laurentis and the scouts for buying a youngster, who has the potential to become among the best in the world, at a very affordable price,” Iervolino added.
