Naples mayor: “It will be a polycentric celebration to involve the whole city”

Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli is flying toward its third Scudetto in history, and title celebrations are being prepared in the city. According to reports from Ansa, the celebrations will unfold in two strands: the spontaneous party expected on the day the title will be mathematically clinched and an organized party at the end of the championship.

The latter was referred to by Naples Mayor Gaetano Manfredi: “It is clear that on the one hand there will be a spontaneous party, a spontaneous enthusiasm in which there is clearly a problem of public order and also of responsibility of the citizens, on the other hand there is the party, which will probably be on June 4, which, for a choice made also by me, will be a polycentric party to involve the whole city and there will be a stage in each Municipality in addition to the central central one in Piazza Plebiscito,” are the words reported by Ansa.

“Then of course there is the issue of public order for the management of spaces and access that is under the aegis of the Prefecture and the police headquarters, and we are working together to ensure maximum participation in safety that is our goal as well as ensuring an expression of joy that we all want,” the first citizen concluded.
