Jannik Sinner’s path to the Miami Masters 1000 is thrilling fans and insiders in the mono of tennis day after day, and Matteo Berrettini’s coach, Vincenzo Santopadre, also wanted to have his say on the San Candido native’s growth.
“Jannik continues to improve,” Santopadre told ‘Sky Sport,’ “He has a higher and higher intensity and has become aware of his strength. Kudos must be given first and foremost to him and those who train him, but also to those who have helped him, in the past years, to lay the foundations so that he could become the player he is now.”
Sinner, currently No. 11 in the ATP world rankings, won the four matches he played between the first round and quarterfinals without losing a single set. His stated goal is to return to the Top 10 and show up at the summer tournaments in top form.
