Jannik Sinner applauds Medvedev. But confesses, “I wasn’t feeling great.”

Daniil Medvedev confirmed himself as the black beast for Jannik Sinner. The Italian surrendered in two sets to the Russian tennis player in the final of the Miami tournament, having to postpone for the second time his appointment with his first Masters 1000 victory.

During the awards ceremony Sinner confessed that he was not 100 percent: “I woke up this morning not at my best. I was not feeling great, but thank you for the support you gave me, it means a lot. I didn’t play well today, I will try again next year. I hope in the future to win the title.”

“Congratulations Daniil, not only for this tournament but for the last five finals. You played incredible tennis, you and your team are doing an incredible job.
