Inter, Massimo Moratti’s dig at Simone Inzaghi
Inter, Moratti no-nonsense on Inzaghi: “Conte would guarantee more wins”
During an interview at the microphones of “Radio Anch’io lo Sport,” former Inter president Massimo Moratti spoke out on the moment of the Nerazzurri’s season. In addition, he also spoke bluntly about Simone Inzaghi’s performance and his future.
“Certainly he represents a problem because he is the coach who has the responsibility to take this team forward. The results are not agreeing with him. What I regret most is the lack of grit from the players. In the last few outings there was not that “I have to win at all costs” mentality. With Fiorentina it was an important match and for Inter it is crucial to go to the Champions League next year,” said the former president of the Nerazzurri.
“We have difficult matches ahead and the team must remain united and focused. It will then be the management that will make a decision regarding the change of coach. A hypothetical return of Conte as a ferryman would be very difficult. However, he has proven to be very good and would certainly guarantee more victories,” Moratti added.
