The seasoned coach has nice words for Reggio Emilia

During an interview given to the microphones of “Corriere dello Sport,” the former head coach of Givova Scafati spoke about the salvation struggle and the season of the Salento franchise.

“I see Reggio Emilia as that cyclist who after a complicated start managed to get up and catch up with the runaways. Since that moment it seems that their energy has doubled and this has given them the chance to climb up the standings. I think if they miss this mentality they will have all the cards to save themselves,” said the former Varese basketball coach.

“I had arrived when the team had a 1-6 record. With work we straightened it out by getting to a record close to 50 percent. Some things did not go according to plan, and I also made some mistakes. If Givova is struggling to find salvation it means that something did not go right,” Caja added about Givova Scafati’s performance.
