The Spaniard would be the Blues’ first choice
According to reports in The Sun, Chelsea, after exonerating Potter, has reportedly decided to target Luis Enrique. It would be the former Red Furies coach who would be the preferred technician for the English club, which is now ready to make its choice.
Luis Enrique is fresh from his long experience at the helm of Spain. He has not coached a club since the 2016/17 season, his last at the helm of Barcelona. In the past, he was also the coach of Roma (2011/12). He would not be the only candidate to sit on the Blues’ bench. Also in the running would be Nagelsmann (he just ended his adventure at Bayern Munich), Pochettino and De Zerbi, the latter also followed by Inter Milan.
