NCAA Final Four: UConn takes the title

Fifth NCAA title, in last 24 years, for Huskies

The NCAA Final Four ended with a brilliant victory for UConn, which won, in the final, over San Diego State. The Huskies took home the victory with a final score of 76-59. This was UConn’s fifth win in the past 24 years.

Sanogo, a long-time prospect, was named MVP of the tournament. In the final, he put up 17 points, with also 10 rebounds. He’s thoroughly enjoying it Coach Hurley, who has managed to mold an enormously talented group. Hurley has taken the Huskies from the AAC to the Big East, from zero NCAA tournament wins since 2016 to absolute dominance of the 2023 national championship.
