Cagliari, Nahitan Nández sheds light on the future
Cagliari, Nández blunt: “If I thought I had to leave now it would be very hard.”
During an interview with the microphones of the “Corriere dello Sport,” Cagliari midfielder Nahitan Nández spoke about his feelings ahead of the end of the season and wanted to shed light on his future.
“I did not expect such a tough tournament and at the beginning we struggled a lot. With Ranieri’s arrival, however, the team has found the right path. Claudio is a great coach, but first of all a great person who transmits serenity to you. Of him I like the importance he gives to the group. His arrival was crucial, because in a short time he managed to transmit us confidence and a great winning mentality,” said the Uruguayan midfielder.
“Since my arrival, Cagliari has made me feel like an important player, but also a normal person. They have been close to me in every moment. I with my heart and soul now feel half Sardinian. If I thought I had to leave, it would be very hard for me because I found more friends here than in Uruguay. In addition, in Sardinia I also found the love that changed my life. For now I prefer to focus on the present and the promotion goal to be achieved,” added Nández.
