Coppa Italia, disqualified players: sting for Cuadrado, one round of suspension for Handanovic and Lukaku

The Italian sports judge issued disciplinary measures after the first leg of the Coppa Italia semifinals. Juan Cuadrado, who was disqualified for three days and fined €10,000, was the culprit. Same fine but only a one-day stop for Samir Handanovic, who like his teammate Romelu Lukaku will have to miss the return leg of the semifinal against Juventus, scheduled for Wednesday, April 26, at the San Siro.

DISQUALIFICATION FOR THREE ACTUAL MATCH DAYS AND A FINE OF € 10,000.00

CUADRADO BELLO Juan Guillermo (Juventus): for improper conduct on the field; already cautioned (Second sanction); having heard the Director of the match, because, at the end of the match, following an altercation with a player of the opposing team, he vigorously tugged him, wrapping his hands around his neck and directing a punch at his face (act, the latter, detected by the collaborators of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office); he was forcibly separated from the opposing player thanks to the intervention of some teammates.

DISQUALIFICATION FOR ONE ACTUAL DAY OF COMPETITION AND A FINE OF € 10,000.00

HANDANOVIC Samir (Internazionale): having heard the Director of the match, because, at the end of the match, following an altercation with a player of the opposing team, he tugged him vigorously by wrapping his hands around his neck; he was forcibly separated from the opposing player thanks to the intervention of some teammates.

DISQUALIFICATION FOR ONE ACTUAL DAY OF COMPETITION

AIWU Emanuel (Cremonese): for voluntarily hitting the ball with his hands, preventing the scoring of a goal.

LUKAKU BOLINGOLI Romelu (Internazionale): double admonition for misbehavior toward an opponent and for non-regulation behavior on the field.
