Nicolò Melli, interviewed by Corriere della Sera, is ironic about the hypothesis that the Scudetto final, also this season, will be played by Olimpia Milano and Virtus Bologna.

“But if I read about ‘failing season’ and ‘shameful performances’ why then does everyone give us as favorites,” he wonders. I think saying that Milan and Bologna are already in the finals is disrespectful to the other six who will qualify for the playoffs and who rightly nurture dreams of glory. We will start thinking about our quarterfinal opponents and then, but only then, about the semifinals and the final.”
