Cecchinato knocked out with Kecmanovic in Estoril

Marco Cecchinato’s journey at the ATP 250 in Estoril comes to a halt at the best of times: the Palermo-based tennis player surrendered to Miomir Kecmanovic in two sets (3-6 1-6) in just over an hour.

Too clear the gap between the two players on the court: the balance is broken at 2-2 and from that moment the Serbian tennis player wins ten of the last twelve games. If in the first set the Italian nevertheless stood up to his opponent, in the second set he appeared instead quite nervous and Kecmanovic was thus able to run rampant, closing at the first useful opportunity.

Thus ends the Portuguese adventura of Cecchinato, who nevertheless played an excellent tournament, while for Kecmanovic it will be final with the winner of the challenge between Casper Ruud and Quentin Halys.
