An important restart, on a day when important news arrives in the promotion zone.

Frosinone is back on a roll in Serie B. After only two points in the previous three days, the leading team returned to winning ways on Easter Sunday afternoon by thrashing Ascoli 2-0, bringing its lead over second-place Genoa back to six points. In fact, the Grifone has only picked up one draw, while behind it is now Bari after a late victory on the field of Südtirol.

In fact, the challenge at the Stirpe stadium ended 2-0, with Frosinone scoring a goal in time against Ascoli: Lucioni and Mulattieri’s signatures on the two goals. Spectacular but full of regrets Genoa’s 2-2 on the field of Como: the double advantage of Strootman and Coda, in fact, was answered by Cutrone and Mancuso in the last half hour at Sinigaglia. Very important was the 1-0 collected by Bari in the direct challenge with Südtirol: in the minutes of recovery came in fact the red for Pompetti and the decisive goal of Morachioli.

In the playoff zone, the victories, both by 1-0, of Reggina and Parma are crucial: the Calabrians defeated Venezia at home thanks to an own goal by Ceppitelli in the first minutes, the ducali imposed themselves in Cittadella thanks to Camara’s goal. In the lower zones of the standings, potentially dangerous was Perugia’s home loss to Modena (0-1, Gerli decisive). In fact, Spal (3-1 in Benevento, Prati, Cella and Moncini scored, temporary draw by Foulon) and Brescia are breathing: Jallow signed the 1-0 victory over Ternana, the first for the Rondinelle in the league since November.
