Jannik Sinner has climbed to No. 8 in the world rankings: after strong performances in Rotterdam, Indian Wells, and Miami, the Italian tennis player hit his best-ever career ranking, becoming the fourth-best Italian in the Open era.
The Azzurro, who has only been training this week ahead of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000, overtook Denmark’s Holger Rune and now aims to do well in the Principality and reach the Top 5.
Ahead of everyone is Novak Djokovic, on the podium is Carlos Alcaraz and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Among other Italians Lorenzo Musetti is 21st, Matteo Berrettini 22nd.
