Heavy win for Inter in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.
Benfica at the Estadio Da Luz was in fact defeated 2-0 by Simone Inzaghi’s Nerazzurri, who allowed only one chance to the hosts in the first half.
In the second half in the 51st minute Barella unlocked the match with a header on an assist from Bastoni, while in the 80th minute it was Lukaku on a penalty kick (awarded for a hand foul by former Joao Mario) who signed the double.
The return match is scheduled for Wednesday, April 19, at the San Siro.
