Kienergia Rieti, exonerated Gianluca Ceccarelli

Gianluca Ceccarelli is no longer Rieti’s coach

NPC Rieti announced on Tuesday the dismissal of coach Gianluca Ceccarelli.

“The Kienergia NPC Sporthub – reads the note released by the club’s press office – announces that it has relieved from the position of head coach Gabriele Ceccarelli. The club thanks the technician for his commitment over the past two seasons and wishes him the best professional satisfactions for the continuation of his career.”

The note also quotes GM Gianluca Martini: “We thank Cecca for the human and professional contribution he has made over these years. It was clearly a very difficult and painful decision. Now is the time to stick together and give everything we have to achieve the corporate goal with all the means at our disposal.”

“Even the most beautiful adventures do not necessarily have a happy ending,” Ceccarelli, on the other hand, commented. “I want to thank Peppe Cattani and Gianluca Martini for the trust placed in me two years ago.
