Lazio, close to white smoke for Mattia Zaccagni’s renewal
Lazio, agreement one step closer for Mattia Zaccagni’s renewal
One of the priorities at Lazio is to armor Mattia Zaccagni, author of a very positive season with 10 goals and 6 assists in 26 Serie A appearances. Contacts between the parties have reportedly already been initiated, but the ex-Verona man’s recent excellent performances would have accelerated the operation.
As reported by “Il Messagero,” management and the player’s entourage would have found an agreement in principle for the renewal. The former Hellas man is expected to extend his contract, due to expire in 2025, until June 2027, with a salary that would reach 3 million euros per season.
However, in the upcoming soccer market, Lazio will be called to overtime to retain Zaccagni, as his performance has attracted the attention of several clubs.
