MotoGp and Dorna boss Carmelo Ezpeleta is causing a stir on social media for some words in an interview with La Repubblica about Valentino Rossi: “As for Valentino, I only miss him as a friend. His departure did not make us lose a penny.”

Ezpeleta believes that sprint races are the first step to lift ratings, which are unquestionably in crisis: “With the pandemic we went from 100 to 0 and last year we suffered like everyone else.
