The first round of the Champions League derby between Milan and Napoli smiles on the Rossoneri, victorious 1-0 at the San Siro in the first leg of the quarterfinals.
The Azzurri failed to take advantage of a great start and were punished before halftime when Bennacer (40′) unlocked the result, just before a resounding cross by Kjaer in the midst of the recovery.
In the second half, Napoli in turn hit a woodwork with Elmas, but were left with 10 men due to Anguissa’s (74′) expulsion for double admonition.
Despite being outnumbered, the guests came close to an equalizer, denied in the 87th minute by Maignan to Di Lorenzo.
