A draw between Cagliari and Frosinone closes B’s Saturday
Series B, results
With the blank-net draw between Cagliari and Frosinone, Saturday dedicated to the 33rd day of Serie B comes to an end. A 0-0 draw that brings the ciociari to 67 points in the standings, four more than Genoa, which gained a couple by winning 2-0 against Perugia (goals by Frendrup and Dragusin).
Bari took a risk at home against Como: Ioannou and Cutrone signed the Larians’ double lead, Cheddira and Di Cesare, the latter in full recovery, allowed them to keep their winning streak open. Benevento-Reggina (1-1, Ciano responds to Pierozzi’s guest goal) and Spal-Brescia (2-2, Maistro’s double for the hosts is answered by Ayé and Olzer) also end in a draw.
Winning instead were Ascoli, which beat Sudtirol 1-0 with Gondo’s goal in the 89th minute, and Venezia, which overcame Palermo 3-2, retaking Brunori’s goal with Johnsen, Pohjanpalo and Tessmann (Tutino’s goal was useless in the final).
