A former Trieste man for Virtus Bologna

It is no mystery that Virtus Bologna’s management is working to give Sergio Scariolo a long man for the end of the season. According to reports in Corriere di Bologna and Corriere dello Sport, one of the profiles being considered by the Bologna club is that of Akil Mitchell.

The Panamanian is currently on the strength of AEK Athens, with which he is having an excellent BCL, traveling at an average of 14.8 points and 8.6 rebounds, but he also has pasts in France, Israel, Turkey (a brief experience at Pinar), Germany (at Brose) and in Italy: in the 2019-20 season he wore the jersey of Trieste, with 9.5 points and 7 rebounds on average.
