“Carlos Alcaraz is inspiring and will lead a new generation of champions”: former Swedish tennis player Magnus Norman is certain of this, speaking about the future of tennis in an interview reported by Tennishead.
“A change at the top is about to take place. Roger Federer has retired, Novak Djokovic is still at the top but Rafa Nadal is waning. There is a new generation on the doorstep, led by Alcaraz, who has already won a slam.”
“I expect a new Slam champion in 2023,” Norman continued, “Zverev is coming back, then there are Tsitsipas, Auger-Aliassime who is playing very well, and of course Jannik Sinner.
