Andrey Rublev Beats Taylor Fritz
Andrey Rublev is the first finalist of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 tournament: the Russian, No. 6 in the world rankings, defeated the American Taylor Fritz (No. 10 ATP) in three sets: 5-7, 6-1, 6-3 the partials, for a total duration of two hours and eleven minutes of play.
In fact, Rublev had only one real lapse, when in the first set he squandered a two-game lead at the beginning and, later, failed to materialize a game with service at 5-4. Much simpler was the discourse related to the next two sets: Fritz suffered the game of Rublev, who in the last two game fractions won 12 games losing only four.
