Moto2, Celestino Vietti’s pole is not enough
Celestino Vietti aims for first seasonal success
After a not easy start of the season (out of the top 10 in both Portugal and Argentina), Celestino Vietti has an important chance of redemption this Sunday, thanks to the pole position of the Gp of the Americas conquered on Saturday at the Austin circuit.
“It’s a good result – the comment of the rider who grew up in Valentino Rossi’s Academy, this year at Fantic Racing -: an injection of confidence after the second part of the season last year and six months of hard work. I am happy for Fantic and to be the first in history to get this result for them.”
“Tomorrow will be a difficult race,” Vietti added, “we will have to manage everything well and in detail, because maybe we would not be the strongest, but we will be able to play for it.
