ATP ranking, Jannik Sinner eighth but the future is bright
Musetti also does well, returning to the Top 20
Thanks to the semifinal in Monte Carlo, Sinner collected 360 points, doubling last year’s turnover in the Monaco tournament (180 points). Sinner is confirmed in eighth position in the ATP ranking but with a good chance to further improve his ranking.
In the upcoming clay tournaments (starting with Barcelona) he could do just as well and try to climb more positions, although Rune (No. 7 in the world) escaped at +340 points. Also satisfied is Musetti, who re-enters the Top 20 (he is exactly No. 20 in the world). At the top of the ranking is Djokovic with Alcaraz right behind him (the Spaniard returns to Barcelona after injury).
