Carlos Sainz vented on Instagram after the appeal filed by Ferrari was rejected.

“I am very disappointed that the FIA did not grant us the right to review, two weeks later I remain convinced that the penalty is disproportionate and that it would have been correct to at least reopen the case based on the new evidence we presented. We must all continue to work together so that certain dynamics improve in the future. The consistency of penalties and how they are or are not established are very controversial topics for several seasons now, and clarity is needed for the good of our sport. In any case, what happened in Australia is now in the past and I am 100 percent focused on the next race in Baku.”
