Luca Marini, mom reveals a backstory
Luca Marini, mom’s backstory pops up
Stefania Palma, mother of Luca Marini, on his first podium in MotoGp in Austin, and Valentino Rossi, has revealed to la Gazzetta dello Sport a backstory about her son, whom she dreamed of becoming a doctor: “I only regret one thing… When he was little I held him back a bit, not to say hindered, because Luca has always been passionate, very convinced of his choices.”
On the age difference between Luca and Valentino, he added, “It’s also my 20 years of maturity. With Valentino I was young and much less agitated, today I am much more apprehensive.”
“I also would have liked to go to Austin, however, I will be in Jerez,” he later confessed.
Finally, he emphasized the excellent results of Valentino Rossi’s team, which has always had an eye on his brother Luca: “Entrepreneur is a big word the way I see it. He is more of a master, what he has done is mainly because he is passionate about it. He has always believed in it, never had any doubt that he could do well. The only thing is that when Luca was little, Valentino was a little distracted by his career and didn’t take him to the minimotos. But he always advised him, watched him, followed him.”
