Marcell Jacobs in Rome

The new gathering of the blue relays will be held in Rome, between the Paolo Rosi and the Farnesina. After the March internship, the sprinters will still be at work from Monday, April 24 to Friday, April 28, under the orders of head of sector Filippo Di Mulo, to prepare for the seasonal appointments: as known, the men’s 4×100 Olympic gold medalist and the 4×400 five-circle finalist must obtain the qualification for the World Championships in Budapest (Aug. 19-27) already cashed by the women’s 4×100, the women’s 4×400 and the mixed 4×400 as a result of the final reached at last year’s World Championships.

Also among those present are Tokyo Olympic champions Lorenzo Patta, Marcell Jacobs, Fausto Desalu and Filippo Tortu, European indoor 60 champion Samuele Ceccarelli, Munich bronze medalist 4×100 relay runners Zaynab Dosso, Dalia Kaddari, Anna Bongiorni and Alessia Pavese, and two of the silver medal relay runners in the 4×400 at the Euroindoors in Istanbul, Alice Mangione and Anna Polinari (others will be involved in the hurdles meets). Training will take place at the Paolo Rosi Stadium and, on April 25 only, at the Farnesina Stadium.
