Jannik Sinner: “It’s never easy.”
After folding Diego Schwartzman for the second time in a few days Jannik Sinner spoke to the press present in Barcelona. “I made some forehand errors, but that can be okay, it was the first match for me and it’s never easy. And the conditions were not easy, it was windy,” he pointed out.
“The important thing was to get through the round and I am happy,” added Jannik, who will now face Nishioka. One whom the South Tyrolean respects a lot: “He has a good touch, he can do many things, he is left-handed: I will try to play my tennis and see how it will go. It also depends on what time it will be played, whether in the sun or in the evening, whether it will be windy or not.”
“There was a good atmosphere and you could also feel the support of the Italians. I am happy to be back in Barcelona after two years,” concluded Sinner.
