Jannik Sinner gets off to a strong start against Schwartzman
Jannik Sinner won the first set clearly against Diego Schwartzman in his debut match at the Atp 500 in Barcelona. The Italian tennis player, among the tournament’s most anticipated athletes along with Carlos Alcaraz, won 6-2 against the Argentine world number 48.
After an initial break-counterbreak, the Italian tennis player showed more solidity on serve and closed by getting two more breaks in the fifth and seventh game, taking the lead in the match.
