Tennis, there is concern about Rafael Nadal’s condition
Tennis, Benito Perez-Berbadillo clear on Nadal: “We are concerned that he won’t make it to the top at Roland Garros.”
During RMC Sport’s “Court No. 1” podcast, Rafael Nadal’s communications director Benito Perez-Berbadillo spoke about the Spanish player’s recovery process and his feelings about Roland Garros, a tournament the Mallorcan is very keen on.
“The recovery process from the injury is going well. I think once he recovers the optimal condition to be competitive again at high levels he will be ready to play. His goal is to arrive at his best at Roland Garros and try to win,” said the Spanish player’s staff member.
“It’s a new situation for him as it is for all of us, and we hope he will be able to get back to his level. Those who know him and those who love this game know very well that he will give everything on the court to try to triumph. However, we are a little worried because we don’t know if he will be able to take part in any tournaments before Roland Garros and so there is a possibility that he may not get to top form,” added Benito Perez-Barbadillo.
